I am happy to have found your site, I
just found out about my son 4 days ago. - Thank
you Y.H.

Thank you so much for your site. I'm 20 and have just
recently (this
afternoon) come out to my mother. I'm planning to come out to
my brother and dad tomorrow. Your site has made it easier, by
giving more confidence, to come out. It's great that you
are so open and understanding of your sons.
Thanks for your site. I will refer my
parents/bro to it as I feel they will
learn my point of view about being gay, from a parents point of
view and
realise they are not alone :). -

Thank you for the lovely home page. It was
helpful!- Kind Regards, Sandi

I'm not quite sure how I found it, but I've had
a good read of your site today.
I only wish my parents were net-savvy enough to be referred to
such a resource 10 years ago. They took me to a
counsellor for some 'conversion', who in turn ended up helping
them make some adjustments .. But you've heard all these
stories before!
Life still isn't 'smooth' with them now, and I think being a
gay only-child has a hell of lot to do with it - but I'd say
that your site has certainly helped a few parents along the
way.
Your boys are very lucky to have such an
understanding mum - keep up the good work and have a happy
Mother's Day! -
Kind regards, Matt

My name is Jennifer. I am a attending college
to earn my special education teaching degree. I am taking an
English Composition course in which I am writing a paper about
the services that Planned Parenthood offers our
teenagers. In the middle of my research, I came across
your web site and started reading!
WAY TO GO!!!!! Kudos to you!!!!!
You should be very proud of yourself for
starting the website that you did. I believe that no matter
what we have to accept one another. Working with special needs
children and having a child who is confined to a wheel chair
myself, I have seen the ugly side of people in my community. I
know that gays and lesbians experience hatred all of the time.
The more resources that are out there , the more stories that
are shared , the better. Just by reading the information on
your site, you put a smile on my face and a song in my
heart.
Thank you for standing up and supporting the one you love.
Thank you for taking a risk and for going against the grain.
People like you are the people that keep our world a better
place. - Jennifer

Just to say thanks for a really great and informative site.
I am a gay male and am very lucky to also have an accepting
family such as yours. If more parents could be like you, things
would be much easier for people to come out.
Recently, my sister has found out that her daughter is also
gay. She has been very accepting, but devastated,
questioning herself. I have mailed her extracts
from your site and I'm sure they will help her to deal with her
own demons. Keep up the good work -
Gary

My name is Jasmine and I came across your site in search for
some relief articles on how to deal with discrimination against
gays and lesbians. I read your site and I was amazed how it was
well put together. I wish the people at my school felt the same
way you did because I am going through alot of discrimination
at my school. I can honestly say that your words were music to
my ears and gave me some sense of encouragement to keep
striving for the best regardless of what people may feel about
me being a lesbian. It's my life and no one is livig it but me,
I am who I am and God loves me no matter what.- Thanks
so much Jasmine

Thank you for taking the time to write and create such a
wonderful website, informative and sincere. I am a gay man in
my early forties living in the north east of the US. I was born
in England, raised in Australia, and travelled extensively. I
have an identical twin brother who resides near by. It thrills
me to know that there are people as yourself who are supportive
of gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgender folks who have a
right to live a full life as the next person.
I am comforted in the knowledge that my father,
in his mid-seventies, has accepted my lifestyle, embracing me
as just one of his four sons, telling me he loves me and wishes
nothing but love, joy, and happiness for me. During my teenage
years, I suffered mercilessly at the hands of peers, even an
older brother, however, as I reflect on my life, I don't
believe I would change much of it at all. In closing, I would
like to praise you at this special season. I hope that more
parents accept their children for who they are, celebrate their
individuality, and embrace them as you have. I also hope that
the God of our fathers softens the hearts of the leaders of the
world, especially of this land, and create an environment for
all people to live in harmony. I thank you again.
- Sincerely, Ash
